Andrea Masini, FlySight’s CEO, has been asked to speak at the upcoming TECHPORT event in Livorno next week, the event hosted by DRASS featuring participation from institutions and various industrial partners involved in the underwater technology sector.

Techport links Italian small businesses who team up on projects to create standard, flexible, and compatible tech for use underwater. The event will be on October 22nd at Palazzo Pancaldi in Livorno, Italy. It’s set to be a key gathering for those working in or interested in underwater technology.
FlySight CEO will join a key talk on “Underwater Volume Monitoring: Tech for Traffic Control, Geographic Data Management, and Communication Systems.” This discussion will feature other industry experts: Liborio Palombella of DELPHI, Valerio Imbriolo of DRASS, Fabio Saba of ELESIA.
The event will showcase two big projects set to change underwater work: Underwater Traffic Control Project, focused on tech for mapping the sea floor. Ronda project: This aims to set standards for self-driving underwater vehicles. The goal is to make different systems work better together and boost underwater operations.
The event will end with a special panel where Key figures and authorities in the underwater sector such as Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy, and Dr. Carlo Festucci, Secretary General of the Federation of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defence and Security (AIAD) will share their views on where the industry is headed.
