Super Resolution

Super Resolution is designed to enhance the resolution of target images by exploiting information from multiple frames in a video sequence. This technology significantly improves image quality and detail, allowing for better analysis and interpretation of visual data.

How Does It Work?

Super Resolution works by analyzing a series of frames before and after a reference frame in a video sequence. The system identifies sub-pixel shifts and variations between these frames, which contain slightly different information due to factors like camera movement or object motion. By intelligently combining this information, the algorithm can reconstruct a higher resolution image with more detail than any single frame. This process involves complex mathematical models that estimate the most probable high-resolution image based on the low-resolution inputs. The result is a significantly enhanced image that reveals details not visible in the original footage.
