FlySight is delighted to announce its participation in the 9th Workshop “UGO TIBERIO”, which occurred on September 12nd at the Naval Academy of Livorno.
The event was dedicated to the memory of Professor Ugo Tiberio, a distinguished pioneer in Italian radar technology. He was a prominent figure within the Italian Corps of Naval Armaments, having previously served as a professor at the Naval Academy and later as a university professor at the University of Pisa. The workshop provided an opportunity to share the latest updates, projects, and technological advancements related to unmanned surface and underwater systems, as well as artificial intelligence applied to onboard sensors. Several remarkable contributions involved academic and industrial experts.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers, the Italian Navy, for providing this opportunity and inviting Giacomo Fontanelli, the Application Specialist of FlySight. Their flawless organization and the high technical caliber of the presentations were truly commendable.
Additionally, we would like to extend our congratulations to the recipients of the Ugo Tiberio Foundation scholarships, which were awarded during the event in recognition of outstanding theses and scientific papers of particular significance.
