This demo shows the application OPENSIGHT Mission Console, a FlySight designed software specifically developed to provide support for payload operators in airborne scenarios.
OPENSIGHT Mission Console is currently used by different law enforcement agencies in Europe for patrol and surveillance operations from airborne platforms. This allows the operator to obtain – in real-time and directly on-board – an improved situational awareness, in order to conduct the mission with improved efficiency and simplicity.
This demonstration shows Norway maps and video, which have been recorded during a previously flown mission. This video is now reproduced by the application in playback, while, in live operation, the video stream is acquired directly from the camera and shown to the final user in real-time, without any perceptible delay.
